Autumn Pinafore Dress Workshop

Join us these Autumn school holidays to create the sweetest handmade pinafore dress — the perfect outfit for layering as the weather cools. In this fun, supportive one-day workshop, students will learn how to confidently use a sewing machine while making their very own stylish pinwale corduroy pinafore to take home.

This workshop is suitable for kids aged 8 and over, and no sewing experience is required. With step-by-step guidance in a small class setting, beginners will feel supported every stitch of the way — and leave feeling proud, capable, and excited about their new sewing skills.

All materials are included. Just bring your creativity!!

  • Date: Monday 13th April 2026

  • PInwale Corduroy - blush pink, crown blue and faded denim.

  • 9am till 3pm.

  • No sewing experience required

  • Suitable for kids aged 8+

  • Located in Ryde

  • Everything supplied (except food - recess and lunch)

  • Limited spots available – maximum of 8 students for this workshop, so book early!

  1. There are no refunds or credits issued for change of your availability or personal circumstances

  2. If you are unable to attend for any reason you may pass your spot onto someone else. Please contact me nikki@sewingwithnikki.com.au to let me know.

  3. If I am unable to hold the workshop for any reason, all students will receive a full refund. (A credit will be issued for Service NSW Vouchers)

  4. Minimum age for this workshop is Year 7 High School.

  5. ENCLOSED shoes are a MUST for the workshop.

  6. NSW Creative Kids vouchers are welcome for workshops and classes over $50. No Refunds on Creative Kids Vouchers.

  7. Minimum numbers are required for the class/workshop to go ahead; refunds will be issued if Sewing with Nikki cancels a class.
