Maxi Skirt

This special high school–only workshop is designed just for teenage students who are ready to build their sewing skills and create a beautiful wardrobe staple. In this session, students will make their own linen/cotton maxi skirt — a timeless, versatile piece they’ll be proud to wear.

No prior sewing experience is required. Beginners are absolutely welcome, and step-by-step guidance will be provided in a supportive, small group environment.

This workshop is exclusively for students currently in high school, allowing older students to learn at their own pace in a class designed especially for them. All fabrics and materials are included — just bring your creativity!

  • Date: Friday 10th April 2026

  • Linen/Cotton - Four different colours available - see photos - White, Sky blue, Lemon Yellow and Pink

  • 9am till 3pm.

  • No sewing experience required

  • Suitable for kids in High School only

  • Located in Ryde.

  • Everything supplied (except food - recess and lunch)

  • Limited spots available – maximum of 8 students for this workshop, so book early!

Creative Kids vouchers welcome.

  1. There are no refunds or credits issued for change of your availability or personal circumstances

  2. If you are unable to attend for any reason you may pass your spot onto someone else. Please contact me nikki@sewingwithnikki.com.au to let me know.

  3. If I am unable to hold the workshop for any reason, all students will receive a full refund. (A credit will be issued for Service NSW Vouchers)

  4. Minimum age for this workshop is Year 7 High School.

  5. ENCLOSED shoes are a MUST for the workshop.

  6. NSW Creative Kids vouchers are welcome for workshops and classes over $50. No Refunds on Creative Kids Vouchers.

  7. Minimum numbers are required for the class/workshop to go ahead; refunds will be issued if Sewing with Nikki cancels a class.
